✖ Because tables

I just felt like posting this, because it’s terrifying awesome.

Indexation forms in Oneida, an Iroquoian language. The rows are person+subject and the columns are person+object. Or something like that.

Lounsbury, Floyd G. 1976. Oneida verb morphology. Human Relations Area Files. https://pure.mpg.de/pubman/faces/ViewItemOverviewPage.jsp?itemId=item_407974 (25 July, 2020).

(Ran across this in some slides by Michael Cysouw.)

Anyone have any other impressive grammatical tables you’d like to share?
